Take Advantage of Summer Classes

Learn while the sun is out!

River Hawk studying in the Summer Sun

happy sun web Apr21What are some advantages?

In the Summer, days are longer. You can actually finish more during the day! Study in the sun. Don't worry, you don't have to use up your whole Summer attending classes. Take just one or two. You can:

  • Finish a prerequisite.
  • Concentrate on a harder or easier class to get it out of the way.
  • Maintain or increase your study skills.
  • Take that one class that might stop you from graduating on time.

Did you know? UCC provides condensed classes in the Summer. So, you can take an 8-week class that would have taken 11 weeks in any other term.

Plus, Summer is a great time to explore classes that are interesting and fulfill electives like GS 107 - Beginning Astronomy. It fulfills a science elective and allows you to explore the universe with Dr. Paul Morgan at one of the best equipped observatories in the Pacific Northwest. It's right here on the UCC campus!
