We offer qualifying students a number of support services to help them succeed in their educational journeys - starting at UCC and continuing as they transfer to university studies in pursuit of a 4-year degree.

Financial Aid and Scholarships
Receive individualized and in-depth assistance in all FAFSA forms and Scholarships.
Career Exploration
If you are undecided or curious to know how your degree will translate into the workforce, you can meet with a TOP advisor or use one of our many career inventories to narrow down your choices.
Textbook and Technology Lending Library
Borrow any textbooks and other technology you need each term based on availability.
Cultural and Educational Events
Experience new things by attending cultural and educational events like plays from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Hult Center, museum tours, and other events.
We Are Federally Funded
These services are free for all students. TRIO Student Support Services is 100% funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education under the Higher Education Act of 1965 and serves 165 participants annually.
Our nation has asserted a commitment to providing educational opportunities for all Americans regardless of race, ethnic background, or economic circumstance. In support of this commitment, Congress established a series of programs to help low-income Americans enter college, graduate, and move on to participate more fully in America’s economic and social life. These programs are funded under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and are referred to as the TRIO Programs (referencing the fact that there were initially only three programs - Upward Bound, Talent Search, and Student Support Services). While student financial aid programs help students overcome financial barriers to higher education, TRIO programs help students overcome class, social and cultural barriers to higher education.
