  • At the end of the program, interns should have proficiency in the following areas:job competency, verbal communication, written communication, problem solving, collaborative learning,technological competency, and professional ethics and behavior.
  • Interns will oversee are: voter contact and outreach,interns will oversee are: voter contact and outreach,drafting email communications to county parties, data entry, research, phone banking and canvassing, script writing, drafting letters to the editor, staffing county party meetings, staffing campaign events, and more. In addition to the daily responsibilities of our interns, they will also have the opportunity to shadow a senior campaign staffer. Interns will also have access to three (3) networking opportunities.

Hours: The internship program will be divided into two sections, the PrimaryThe internship program will be divided into two sections, the PrimaryElection (January 2020 - May 2020) and the General Election (July 2020 - November 2020). Each will lastapproximately 4-5 months and will be flexible with students’ schedules.
