If you receive a scholarship from an outside or community agency (any agency other than the UCC Foundation) please complete this form and turn it into the Scholarship Office in the LaVerne Murphy Campus Center: Student Accounts, as soon as possible!

The Vera Shukle Memorial Scholarship

Amount: $500

UCC Deadline: Ongoing

Eligibility: Available for UCC students who have been accepted to the nursing program as a second year student. Awarded based on merit, motivation and need.

2019 Douglas Timber Operators Scholarship

Amount: $2500

UCC Deadline: April 19, 2019

Eligibility: Applicants must be residents of Coos, Douglas or Lane Counties. Applicants must have the intention to major in a natural resources field.

The DaVinci Body Sculpting Women in STEM Scholarship

Amount: $2,500

UCC Deadline: April 30th, 2019

Eligibility: Full time student. Majoring or studying in science/math related fields. Submit 1000-1500 word essay with application.

2019- 2020 Living with Loss Scholarship Opportunity

Amount: $1,000

UCC Deadline: April 30th, 2019

Eligibility: An essay of approximately 750 words discussing a personal loss that you’ve experienced and how that death has affected your life and your future plans. A copy of your transcript. Unofficial transcripts are permitted, but unofficial “grade reports” are not an acceptable alternative. One or more letters of recommendation or support from teachers, coaches, counselors, or other academic professionals.

Amount: up to $5,000

Amount: $1,000

Horatio Alger Association Career & Technical Scholarship

Amount: $2,500

UCC Deadline: June 15th, 2019

Eligibility: Successfully completed high school or have GED certificate, or equivalence, by spring of 2019, commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical certificate/degree, Pell-eligibility, student under age 30 and United States citizenship.

Eligibility: Must be enrolled in an education related major. Must be pursuing a career as a preschool through 5th grade teacher (any discipline). Must be enrolled at an accredited 2 year, 4 year or technical/vocational college. Must be a US citizen. Must have minimum 3.0 GPA.

Building the Future Scholarship

Amount: $5,000

UCC Deadline: June 30th, 2019

Eligibility: Must be a low income student or student from an underrepresented group. Must be pursuing a career as a preschool through 5ht grade teacher (any discipline). Must be enrolled at an accredited 2 year, 4 year or technical/vocation college. Must be a US citizen. Must have minimum 3.0 GPA.

Johnston Law Firm Scholarship

Amount: $750

UCC Deadline: June 30th, 2019

Eligibility: Minimum 3.0 GPA. Must submit a 450 word essay, transcripts and proof of acceptance into an accredidated college or university.

Amount: $1,000

UCC Deadline: August 1st, 2019

Eligibility: Enrolled full time in an accredited college, planning to transfer to a post- secondary institution. Complete essay with application.

Amount: $5,000

Eligibility: Any current college student or incoming freshman enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a Spring, Summer, or Fall 2019 semester. Student must be enrolled at an accredited American college, university or trade school.

Southern Oregon Viticulture & Enology Scholarship - New!

Amount: Up to $2000

Deadline: Continuous

The Southern Oregon   Viticulture and Enology Scholarship is an Employer Match scholarship is   available for employees, including owners, of Oregon Vineyards/Wineries/Tasting   Rooms. The ERATH Family Foundation (EFF) established this scholarship to   increase the number of personnel in Southern Oregon leadership roles who have   a fundamental education in V&E.
Through a generous donation   by the EFF, vineyards and wineries can support and encourage their employees   to attend the Southern Oregon Wine Institute at Umpqua Community College by   matching up to $2,000 per academic year per student/employee, for a total of   up to $4,000 per academic year per student/employee.
