Additional Training
Boater Safety
This course provides practical and relevant instruction from a trained boating safety instructor. If you pass the course, you can apply for your boater education card, as required by Oregon's mandatory Boater Education Program. Since 2009, all operators of powerboats are required to carry the boater education card for motors with 10 horsepower and up.
Certified Flagger Training
UCC's Community Education Department offers the 6-hour Certified Flagger Training course to prepare you to provide work zone traffic control. Successful students receive ODOT Credential for Flaggers, which is valid for three years in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. * On a temporary basis, the certified flagger course will be offered in an online format. Forklift Training

Handgun Safety and Self Defense
Gain knowledge and proficiency to properly use and care for handguns from a nationally certified instructor. Upon completion, participants will be eligible to apply for a Concealed Weapon Permit.
