Transcripts

The Umpqua Community College RMC program supports the transfer of prior college credits for course equivalency consideration. Transcript equivalency credit must be reviewed and approved by the UCC Registrar.

To submit transcripts for consideration you may need two key links:

UCC Course Substitution Petition

As a UCC RMC program participant you have three options for prior course work:

Option 1

If you have prior RMC course work from another WAFC accredited community college:

  1. Complete the Getting Started RMC program registration process at www.uccrmc.com.
  2. Email a copy of your unofficial transcript to [email protected]. Include your UCC student registration number along with the date you completed the UCC RMC application process.
  3. Order and submit official transcripts using the link above.
  4. Once you receive the transcript review email from the UCC Registrar, please forward it to [email protected].

Option 2

If you have prior non-RMC college credits and desire course equivalency review before beginning the UCC RMC program:

  1. Complete only Step 1 of the Getting Started process at www.uccrmc.com.
  2. When completing the college admissions indicate that you are a transfer student.
  3. Use the UCC Transcript Submission Process to submit your prior college work.
  4. Once you receive the transcript review email from the UCC Registrar forward it to [email protected] and include your UCC student registration number and an explanation that you would like to register for the UCC RMC program.
  5. Gary Gray will provide a next steps email. Note – you will not begin the RMC program until the transcript review process is complete. This can take 4 – 6 weeks.

Option 3

If you have prior non-RMC college credits and desire course equivalency consideration but are willing to begin with the first RMC course while the equivalency is considered:

  1. Complete the Getting Started process at www.uccrmc.com.
  2. When completing the college admissions indicate that you are a transfer student.
  3. Use the UCC Transcript Submission Process to submit your prior college work.
  4. Once you receive the transcript review email from the UCC Registrar, please forward it to [email protected] and include your UCC student registration number and an explanation that you would like to register for the UCC RMC program.
  5. You will begin with the SDP113 class and continue as a non-transfer student until the transcript review is completed.
  6. Your RMC program will be adjusted based on any course equivalency that is granted by the UCC Registrar.

Key considerations

  1. Course work that is older than 5 years is difficult to evaluate and may slow the review process.
  2. UCC Registrar decisions are final and cannot be adjusted by the RMC Program.
  3. If you believe that a declined course equivalency should be appealed you may complete the UCC Course Substitution Petition and submit to:
UCC RMC Program Attn: Gary Gray, RMC Program Advisor
PO Box 967, Roseburg, OR 97470-0226.
  4. Enrollment estimation dates cannot be provided for students seeking transfer equivalency review prior to program start.
