Interested in a career in nutrition?
Similar to other health-related fields, you may use the classes in this UCC transfer degree as your first step towards completing a degree in nutrition or dietetics at a four-year university. Be sure to check the exact requirements for your desired transfer institution and consult with an UCC academic advisor.
Please see the OSU website for details about degrees in dietetics, nutrition and health sciences, and nutrition and foodservice systems. OSU offers an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics-accredited program in dietetics that includes all of the required education for an internship-eligible student that is on the way to becoming a Registered Dietitian (R.D.).
Also see the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics website for more information about careers for registered dietitians.
Residents of WA, ID, NV, and CA
If you are from Washington, Idaho, Nevada, or California, you pay Oregon resident tuition rates. That's a big discount! You might also be interested in what life is like around UCC. Find out!
