Presidential Search

Phase 1: You are invited to cast your vision for the next president by taking a short anonymous survey.

President Debra Thatcher announced that she plans to retire from Umpqua Community College, effective June 30, 2021. A nationwide search will be conducted to find Umpqua’s next great leader, with a goal of having the new president start on July 1, 2021.

Please take a short, anonymous four-question survey by 5 p.m. on October 2 to provide feedback on what the Board and Search Committee should look for in the next president. Cast your vision by clicking the button below.
