Job Description

The Ceramics Studio Assistant will assist the Fine Arts staff with a variety of functions. Tasks assigned may include but are not limited to; Help with maintenance, cleanup and organization in the Ceramics studio, mix glazes, pug clay, and provide assistance to students.

Qualifications

Must be an UCC undergraduate student with a Federal Work-Study allotment for the 2019 - 20 academic year.

Eligible work-study students should be able to lift 50 lb. clay boxes and ceramic materials, operate gram scales to weigh glaze materials, utilize math skills to compound glazes, inventory glaze and clay materials, and help load and unload ceramic kilns. 

Pay Rate: $11 / hr
