UCC Presents Messiah
Community invited to enjoy two holiday season performances of Messiah.
ROSEBURG, Oregon – The Roseburg Concert Chorale and Umpqua Community College (UCC) are delighted to present MESSIAH by George Frederic Handel. Two performances will take place; the first on Friday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Myrtle Creek, the second on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m. in Jacoby Auditorium on UCC’s main campus.
This iconic work, under the direction of Dr. Jason Heald, will include a 100 voice choir comprised of the Roseburg Concert Chorale and UCC Chamber Choir, accompanied by the Umpqua Chamber Orchestra. Soloists will include sopranos Melissa Reed and Jessica Rossi, contralto Donna Spicer, tenor Zack Reed, and bass Gavin Clark.
