Food Assistance
Project C.A.N.S.
Project C.A.N.S. is an on-campus food pantry established by ASUCC Leadership Board. It is designed to assist a student during difficult times and is a place where a student can receive free, supplemental food assistance.
Qualifications: Any student enrolled for college or other credits may access Project C.A.N.S. as needed
DHS SNAP Benefits
Student eligibility for SNAP benefits has changed. Visit the Department of Human Services website to find out if you are eligible to receive SNAP.
The Emergency Food Assistance Program
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that helps supplement the diets of low-income Americans by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost. USDA provides 100% American-grown USDA Foods and administrative funds to states to operate TEFAP.
