What is resilience?

Resilience is defined as the “ability to adapt well to stress, adversity, trauma or tragedy. It is the ability to remain stable and maintain healthy levels of psychological and physical functioning” (From the American Psychological Association). Resilience is an important component of health and wellness. Everyone can learn tools to increase resiliency over the course of your life.
