What happens now?
Expect to hear back from us by phone and/or email within a week. At this time we will make an intake appointment to determine qualification. Following the intake appointment, the student will be asked to provide income verification in the form of most recent tax return (1040 federal form) or Student Aid Report (SAR) from FAFSA.
How do I know I qualify?
To become a participant in the Transfer Opportunity Program, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Have an academic need
- Be enrolled at UCC
- Meet at least one of the following:
- Your parent(s) have not received a bachelor's degree
- You have a documented physical or learning disability
- You meet federal low income eligibility

For family units with more than eight members, add the following amount for each additional family member: $6,810 for the 48 contiguous states, the District of Columbia and outlying jurisdictions; $8,520 for Alaska; and $7,830 for Hawaii. |
