Free Application for Federal Student Aid. No fee ever for this application!
Required if interested in grants, loans and/or scholarships.

Seek additional financial aid
Visit other UCC offices if seeking VA Benefits, local scholarships, and work study options.

2. APPLY

Admissions To Do Image

Complete the Admissions Application
Immediate acceptance to the college! Complete the application in one of two ways:

  • In-Person: Admissions Office in the Welcome Center

Submit official transcripts
If you have completed coursework at another college or university, other than UCC, contact that institution
to request an official copy to be sent to: UCC Admissions Office, PO Box 967, Roseburg, OR 97471.

4. ENROLL

Enrollment To Do Image

Complete Placement Tests
Placement tests are made up of three parts: Math, Reading, and Writing. Your test may take 2 hours and is FREE the first attempt. All newly admitted students and/or returning/transfer students who have not completed equivalent courses with a letter grade of “C” or higher will need to take the placement test.

  • Walk-in: (on select days) in the Testing Center (Student Center)

Practice & Prepare! It's important to review before taking your placement tests. It could save you time and money. Take a look at additional resources at Placement Testing Study Resources

Meet with an Academic Advisor
Students must meet with their advisor to discuss placement test results, chosen program, and/or first term classes in order to register for courses.

  • By Appointment: Call 541-440-4610

Register for Courses
Register for courses in one of two ways. Make sure you've met your advisor first!

  • In-Person: Enrollment Office in the Welcome Center

Pay for Courses
Payment Due Date is always the 1st day of the term. You can pay for courses with out of pocket resources (cash, card, or check), other funding (grants, financial aid), or by using our payment plan through Nelnet.

  • Online: In your Student Self Service
