Umpqua Chamber Orchestra


The Umpqua Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Jason A. Heald, is a community orchestra sponsored by Umpqua Community College. The orchestra consists of UCC students and amateur musicians combined with local professional musicians. The UCO performs 4-6 programs per year, including a fall pops concert and a Young Soloist Competition Concert.

Included will be featured performances by four current UCC faculty, including clarinetist John Pecorilla, trumpeter John Gronberg, and two new UCC voice faculty, Abbigail Cote and Alyse Jamieson.

Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Choir Concert


The Umpqua Chamber Orchestra will be rehearsing on Monday evenings at the First Presbyterian Church, 823 SE Lane Ave in Downtown Roseburg. The first rehearsal will be at the First Presbyterian Church on October 6, 2014 at 7:00 PM. If you are unable to attend this first rehearsal or have any questions, please contact Jason Heald.
