Apply for the Registered Nursing Program

RN Application 2024-2026

Thank you for your interest in UCC’s Registered Nursing (RN) program. We are excited to work with you through the application process. Please make sure that you follow these important first steps:

  1. Please ensure that you are registered to become a UCC student (and receive an 800#) before applying to the program. If you already have an 800#, you can apply during the open application period.
  2. Make sure that you know your UCC email (not personal email) for proper correspondence with the UCC Nursing Program Coordinator, and other nursing staff. An example of a UCC student email is: [email protected]. All electronic correspondence will be done using the student email assigned to you.

Please know that we continue to navigate COVID-19. Flexibility is key as daily, weekly, and monthly changes have been a common theme for UCC RN program students and staff. The UCC Nursing Team continues to advocate for an exceptional educational experience and works closely with community partners to promote safety in the clinical setting.

Students should understand that although co-admitted to the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Nursing, those who choose to transition from the UCC Nursing Program to OHSU will have to undergo a background history check for OHSU at the time of transition, which may affect the ability to enroll at OHSU.

Before enrolling in the Registered Nursing program, students should consider whether the license they need to obtain to work, will be valid outside the state of Oregon. Use this table to determine state-to-state licensure.
