Filling out the FAFSA is a great start, but the award offer from your school doesn’t always cover all of your college expenses – check out these other resources that can help you pay for your college education.

General Information
Many scholarships are available from individual donors and service organizations in communities throughout Douglas County as well as nationwide. Also, the UCC Foundation provides scholarships for up to 50% of the tuition costs to graduates from each local district high school. Interested seniors should contact their high school counselor's office concerning the application process.
Application forms for other scholarships are available in the Financial Aid Office. Several excellent scholarship search programs are available on the World Wide Web. Here are a few to get you started →

Office Hours
The Financial Aid/Scholarship Office is located in the Campus Center Building. Regular public service hours are: Mon & Wed-Fri: 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Tues: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., throughout the academic year, except for official college holidays. Summer hours are: Mon, Wed & Thurs: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Tues: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please check the academic calendar for campus closure dates and extended hours during first week of each term.
