PT Commercial Truck Driving Instructor
Responsible to: Dean of Career & Technical Education
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Teach Commercial Truck Driving to students in the CDL program.
Meets each assigned class with punctuality, enthusiasm and regular attendance.
Implements class activities that will promote maximum learning.
Covers the usual course content as described in the approved course outline, and provides sufficient exposure to the material so that the students will satisfactorily proceed to the next course in sequence and/or courses in the program.
Conducts class during the time and in the room provided on the regular college schedule; any deviation from this should be approved by the Division Chair.
Carries out college policies in all aspects that relate to this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Class A Commercial Drivers License.
Five years Commercial Truck Driving experience preferred.
Teaching experience preferred.
Teaching hours could include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Log truck, heavy haul experience preferred.
SALARY:$12 - $18 per hour DOE, Part-Time Faculty Salary Schedule, Base
