PT Clerical and Data Entry Aide - WCJC

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Responsible registering Wolf Creek Job Corps students in GED and high school diploma classes, performing CASAS testing, preparing TOPS forms, and entering data into the WCJC computer system.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Essential Functions:
Registers students using the ABSD registration form.
Works with ABSD Assessment and Tracking Coordinator to determine the proper CASAS pre and post test.
Conducts CASAS Appraisal, pre-tests and post-tests.
Completes (Entry & Update) TOPS forms.
Analyzes high school transcripts and enters them in credit analysis worksheet. Calls high schools for information on credits/classes.
Enter data into WCJC computer system.
Represents UCC to the community.
Performs other duties as assigned by the WCJC Coordinator, ABSD Director, and ABSD Coordinator
Incidental Functions:
Participates in curriculum development and staff meetings.
Attends in-service and other professional education activities, as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of principles of reading, writing and math skills.
Must be computer literate and have the ability to use a variety of audio-visual equipment
Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and through correct written grammar and usage.
Must have strong desire to work with people from a broad range of backgrounds
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of computer functions required
GED or High School Diploma required
Associate’s degree preferred.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
SALARY: $10.00/hour, Part-time 2010-11 Classified Salary Schedule
