Lean advisor available to help small business owners

Umpqua Community College Small Business Development Center is pleased to announce the addition to their small business advisory staff, Lean Advisor and Consultant Steve Goldbeck.

The SBDC offers classes, expert advising, and professional resources to help small business owners make great decisions.  Steve brings twenty years of manufacturing management, and ten years of Lean (Continuous Improvement) management, consulting and advising to the SBDC team staff.  He has managed multiple departments and was the Lean Champion at Bayliner Boats, implemented Mini-Business and Glass Wall “Cells” at Roseburg Forest Products, Instructional Standard Work at C & D Lumber, and Value Stream Mapping at VT West Industries.  Steve brings a wide array of Lean tools and concepts to the SBDC advisory team.
