Library Instruction Sessions

Have a librarian come into your class! Class presentations can be as long or as brief as needed, and give students a valuable starting point on research assignments while helping them realize they have allies in the library to turn to when questions arise. Classes must be scheduled AT LEAST one week in advance.

Ready to schedule?

katherine.cunnion@umpqua.edu :: 541.440.7681

Reserve Collection

The Reserve collection contains a selection of instructor-owned textbooks, tapes, and handbooks placed in the library by the instructors for the use of their students, and are especially useful to students studying for an upcoming test or dealing with textbook shortage issues at the beginning of a term. All distance education and Humanities / Social Science instructional VHS/DVD collections are also available as Reserve items, listed in the library catalog.

Each instructor will determine the conditions for the loan of their own curriculum materials on Reserve. Some examples of current checkout periods in our Reserve collection include:

Most items that checkout for periods shorter than overnight are designated "in-library use only."

Late items do incur fines, typically $0.25 per hour. Be sure to ask when the item is due; you are responsible until it is returned. Reserve items are available during the library's regular hours from the Circulation desk.

Contact Amy Cornia to place items on Reserve or for further information:
