Economic Impact Study

The Economic Impact Study by Economic Modeling Specialist International (Emsi) estimates the impact that Umpqua Community College has on the economy both in Douglas County and Statewide. Emsi uses labor market data to provide useful information that helps UCC understand the connection between our economy, people and work.

In the summer of 2020, UCC worked with Emsi to compile information for the 2018-19 academic year. The reports below found that UCC plays a major role in the local economy. The community as a whole benefits from increased job and investment opportunities, increased earnings, and higher revenues.
