Umpqua Community College's nursing program is a founding member of OCNE- the Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education. The unique collaboration of community college nursing programs with OHSU to offer a shared curriculum on 7 community college campuses and the 5 campuses of OHSU to offer a BSN.

Umpqua Community College has one of the premier simulations labs in the state of Oregon. Our lab has Sim 3G, Meti Man, the Noelle birthing simulator with fetal heart rate tracings, SimBaby and many other mid-fidelity manikins and task trainers.
The RN program has both OSBN and NLNAC accreditations.

The position supervises the Practical nursing and Registered nursing programs plus nursing assistant, dental assisting and dental hygiene. The nursing programs have 10 full time nursing faculty, 2 full time support staff plus 18 part time faculty. The dental programs have 2 faculty department chairs plus 7 part time teaching staff.
