Graduation and Residency Requirements

Degrees, and certificates are awarded at the conclusion of each term. The commencement ceremony to honor degrees and one or more year certificates is held in June.

It is the students responsibility to request a graduation evaluation to ensure that all requirements are completed. For June graduates, the evaluation should be requested by March 1, of the year in which the certificate or degree is to be awarded. To receive any degree from UCC, a student must maintain a 2.00 cumulative grade point average, attend UCC for two terms including the last, and complete a minimum of 24-credit hours at UCC.

After applying for graduation there is a graduation packet mailed to students in May. This packet has details about the ceremony and will be available for pick-up in the Admissions Office for late filers after that mailing date.
