Yes, UCC charges the following application fees. The fees listed below must be submitted at the time of application:

What are the hours of operation for campus offices?

When does the class schedule come out?

When does does the next catalog come out?
The course catalog is produced during the Spring of each year. You can download the latest catalog in pdf format from the College Forms and Publications page.

How much is tuition?

When is tuition due?
Payment is due the time you register. Payment deadlines are posted in the catalog and schedule.

Does UCC have On-Campus Housing?
Umpqua Community College does not have dormitories and so the student must rent a room, apartment, or house in the community. For housing rentals in the area you may find it helpful to check the listings available in Roseburg's News Review.
Because the college is about five miles from the city of Roseburg, transportation may be a problem if the student does not have a car. Public transportation in Roseburg is limited and most of UCC's students own their vehicle. Limited bus service is also available for Roseburg and outlying towns.

Glossary of terms used site wide

The Academic Year consists of three terms (or "quarters") of approximately 11 weeks each. You may enter at the beginning of any term, but it is advantageous to enter in the fall because of sequence course requirements.
A Credit Hour usually represents three hours of time each week (1 hour in class, 2 hours of outside preparation) for one term. This time may be assigned to work in classroom or laboratory or to outside preparation. The number of lectures, recitations, laboratory, studio, or other periods per week for any course may be found in the course descriptions in the catalog or in the regular Schedule of Classes. The normal amount of scheduled time for a non-laboratory academic class is 50 minutes per week for each credit hour. Laboratory and activity courses usually require more than one hour of class time per week for each hour of credit.
The term co-admission applies to a student who is enrolled at both UCC and a four year institution (for example Oregon State University) at the same time.
The term dual enrollment applies to a student who is enrolled at both UCC and a local high school at the same time.
A Subject is a designated field of knowledge such as history or English.
A Sequence consists of three successive terms of a course such as Biology 101-102-103 or History of the US 201-202-203.
A Curriculum is an organized program of courses and study arranged to provide definite cultural or professional preparation.
A Period is a class meeting of discussion, lecture, laboratory work, etc., which may last for 50 minutes or more.
A Full-Time Student is one registered for 12 or more credit hours per term.
A Part-Time Student is one registered for fewer than 12 credit hours per term.
