Your UCClife email account

  1. From www.umpqua.edu click the UCClife tab.

  2. Login with your username and password.

  3. Click on the email icon in the upper right-hand corner.

  4. If you get a pop-up blocked message click "Close" and continue to step 5. If you don't get a pop-up blocked message continue to step 7.

  5. Right click on the yellow information bar along the top of the webpage, then select "Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site".

  6. Click on the "Email" icon again.

  7. Click on the "Compose" link to compose an email.

  8. Click on the "Address" button to search for a UCClife email address.

  9. Select "UCClife Directory"

  10. Choose your search criteria from the "Search for" dropdown list. I'll pick "Last Name".

  11. Enter your search term in the "that includes" field.

  12. Click the "Search" button.

  13. When your search results have been returned you can click on the "To" link to send that person a message.

  14. The boxes on the right will list your selections.

  15. Click "OK" when you are done.

  16. This will bring you to a blank email screen.

  17. Enter a subject and a message, you can also spell check your message.

  18. Select the proper spelling from the "Suggestions" list.

  19. Click "Change" to apply your spelling changes.

  20. Click "Send" to send the e-mail.

  21. You will recieve a confirmation message, just click "OK".

  22. To see your new mail, click the "Get Mail" link.

  23. To read your mail click on the subject link, under the "Subject" collumn. The message will appear below your inbox.
