Roseburg— The Southern Oregon Wine Institute at Umpqua Community College is privileged to host a visit by Dr. Jesus Yuste-Bombin, a Spanish viticulturalist on campus 4 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2008. The public, members of the wine industry and wine lovers throughout Oregon are welcome and encouraged to attend.
“This is a great opportunity for local wine lovers,” said UCC President Blaine Nisson. “This is our first step helping the wine industry with continuing education.”
Dr. Yuste-Bombin will speak on “Tempranillo in Spain, 2000 Years of Field Experience” at 4 p.m. in the CenterStage Auditorium of the Whipple Fine Arts Building on the UCC campus.
