Dazzle performance planned by youth orchestra

Roseburg— Umpqua Community College Fine and Performing Arts Department and the Umpqua Symphony Association presents “Strings for All Ages” in Jacoby Auditorium at Umpqua Community College on Tuesday, January 29 at 7:00 p.m. The concert will feature the Umpqua Chamber Orchestra and Douglas County Youth Orchestra. The concert is free.
The Douglas County Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Kristin Riley, features 115 string students from the Roseburg area. The concert will include performances by the beginning, intermediate and advanced string ensembles.
The Umpqua Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Jason Heald, will present string selections by Telemann and Strauss.
