Roseburg— Umpqua Community College is offering a 60 hour professional skill training for those actively working in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and the sheet metal industry. Class will be held at Roseburg High School’s Vocational-Technology building, room T-109, every Tuesday and Thursday, 6-9 p.m., from January 15-March 20. Tuition cost is $180.00 and pre-registration ends Januay 9. Please call 440-7744 and ask for course number 33180 to register.
Students will work more efficiently and cost effectively by learning how to measure, fabricate and install HVAC equipment with special emphasis on retro fitting. The instructor is Ernie Swinn.
