Music, Theater, Events
Music on the Half Shell 2006
A free-to-the-public concert series held in Stewart Park, Roseburg every Tuesday of the summer at 7pm. This year's lineup includes Babaa Maal, Little Feat, Leo Kottke, and more.
Oregon Shakespeare Festival
Take in a play- Shakespearean or otherwise- at one of the best drama festivals in the country. Ashland, where the festival is located, also has wonderful options for shopping, dining, or just taking an evening stroll.
Britt Festival
This annual summer music celebration in Jacksonville (20 miles north of Ashland) attracts some big names. This year includes Hootie and the Blowfish, Rob Thomas & Jason Mraz, Chicago, Carrie Underwood, STYX, and more. Tickets are available for purchase by phone, mail, fax, or in-person (not online).
Columbia Gorge Concerts
The Columbia Gorge Amphitheater hosts concerts during the summer months, as scheduled by its owner, House of Blues.
