Hungry Planet: What the World Eats
Feb. 4 - Mar. 10

Hungry Planet: What the World Eats is a fascinating photo essay documenting 12 families from 12 countries. Comprised of 48 color photographs taken by renowned photographer Peter Menzel, this exhibit provides a thought-provoking analysis of worldwide food consumption, examining what we as global citizens share—or lack. Photographs depict everything from the excesses of American fast food culture to the starkness of waterside markets in Mali. These images provide a gripping narrative about comparative world nutrition. At this time, the UCC showing is the only Oregon/Pacific Northwest viewing of this exhibit.
