The major purpose and function of the Art Gallery is to exhibit quality works
of art for the education and cultural benefit of the students of UCC and the
citizens of Douglas County.
The UCC Art Gallery is located in the Whipple Fine Arts Building. It is a 1,100 square foot Art Gallery with exhibitions from a variety of sources changing monthly. In addition, there is a continuous student art show in the upstairs gallery.
On exhibit in both galleries are a variety of media including photography, painting, printmaking, design, drawing, ceramics, sculpture and the projects from the art history class.
The Gallery program includes purchases of art that are contained in a Permanent
Art Collection throughout the campus, both indoors and out. Gallery hours are 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday or by appointment. There is no admission charge. Everyone is welcome.
