EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Essential Functions:
Teach five classes of English Composition per term;
Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department;
Be part of the Humanities learning community;
Submit appropriate materials for courses taught (course syllabus, course outline, grades, etc.);
Assess student learning outcomes and program outcomes;
Prepare reports on Learner Outcome results;
Be aware of campus services that can assist students in need of academic advising or referral for career preparation opportunities;
Act as an effective team member in department meetings, committee work, and other responsibilities assigned;
Advise students;
Maintain a schedule of five office hours per week to assist students;
Develop and update a personal, professional development plan;
Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate degree in English.
College level teaching experience.
Teaching experience in online delivery.
SALARY:$41,958 - $48,828 per year DOE, Full-Time Faculty Salary Schedule, Step 1-6.
