Vol. 17, No. 1

Welcome new employees!

You are reading UCC’s staff newsletter, distributed each Monday during the academic school year.

We have many new people hired who will be interviewed and introduced in the PWA in coming weeks.

The PWA is sent via email to all employees. If you wish to receive a hard copy, just let us know (ext. 628 or email: PWA), and we’ll get it to you.

Submit items on Thurs.,noon by sending email to PWA or send snail mail to Snyder 17.

Welcome back DOCTOR Jill Michelle
Jill was on sabbatical last year finishing her dissertation, at U of O. She’s returning to teaching humanities this term. Congratulations for a job well-done, Jill!

RSVP for Wed. inservice lunch
Wednesday’s potluck luncheon features a potato bar. Patty Lamoureaux needs to know in advance how many people will be sharing this meal, so please turn in the invitation in your packet.

Inservice information packets
Part-time employees who aren’t attending inservice activities may pick up this year’s staff information packet from your building mailbox or Patty Lamoureaux in Administration.

Photo ID badges
In an effort to welcome our students and staff this fall, UCC would like ALL employees to wear name tags. Temporary name badges were instituted last year. Throughout this past year the Computer Club has been photographing staff and producing permanent name badges. If you do not have a photo name badge please get your photo taken at one of the following time slots. The sooner the better in order to have the ID badges for first day of class.
