THANK YOU
I would like to thank those of you who sent cards, flowers, e-mails, hugs, thoughts, prayers, and those of you
who just stopped by my office, to give me your expressions of caring on the recent loss of my father. With
family like you, it helps to get through this hard time. Thank you all, again, it really means a lot to me,
and my family. - Susie Navarro

Benefit Performance for Summer Musical
The Fine and Performing Arts Dept. announces a benefit performance for the 2004 summer musical, Oklahoma. The
show, “Oh, what a Beautiful Evening” will be held at Jacoby Auditorium, on May 8 at 7 pm.
This special performance will feature performers from previous UCC Summer Musicals, singing songs from 25 years
of UCC's community productions. The performance will also include appearances by special musical guests from the
region, singing well-known Broadway selections.
Admission is free, and all donations go directly to fund this year’s show. Checks should be made out to the UCC
Summer Musical Fund. Donations are tax deductible.
Keep looking
By the time the average person finishes college he or she will have taken over 2,600 tests, quizzes and exams. The
‘right answer' approach becomes deeply ingrained in our thinking. This may be fine for some mathematical problems,
where there is in fact only one right answer. The difficulty is that most of life isn't that way.
Life is ambiguous; there are many right answers - all depending on what you are looking for. But if you think there
is only one right answer, then you'll stop looking as soon as you find one. - Roger von Oech
