Sending our best!
The staff sends a big “Get Well” wish to Cat Ferrel, community relations staff writer, who recently underwent emergency surgery.

TOP Ford Scholars
Pam Howard, SSS Counselor Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP), reports that UCC had a terrific showing for Ford Opportunity and Ford Scholar Interviews. Ten UCC students were interviewed and six were awarded Ford Grants. Of the six awardees, five were participants in the Transfer Opportunity Program. They are Cliff Bell, Sharley Cole, Will Hicks, Rose Maddux, and Tony Sunseri.

Congratulations to the TOP students, staff and the UCC community for all the hard work. It really paid off.

Summer hours
Beginning Mon., June 14, and ending Sep. 10, the college will follow the practice of a four day work week. Open Mon.-Thurs., 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Some people will work 7-5, 7:30-5:30 or 8-6, with a 30 min. lunch break.

Clean out lockers
The annual cleaning of athletic lockers in the men’s, women’s and team locker rooms is scheduled for the week of June 16. If you have a locker in any of these areas, please remove the contents and lock by Friday, June 11 - remaining articles will be disposed of.

Lockers will be available again, starting Monday, June 21.
