Payment Methods


UCC accepts cash, checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, and deferred tuition, as well as, gift certificates as payment for classes. You can register for non-credit classes over the phone using your Visa or MasterCard as payment by calling (541) 440-7744. You may register by phone between the hours of 9am-3pm, Monday thru Friday..

Pre registration Payment by Mail - Students who have pre-registered and have no schedule changes may mail their check (with student's name and social security number) to the Office of Admissions, or drop off the check at the Registration window by the dates listed in the Academic Calendar for each term.

Financial Aid Payment - Financial Aid students may confirm their tuition payment by calling the Registration Office, (541) 440-4604, by the payment dates listed in the Academic Calendar for each term. It is the student's responsibility to confirm their financial aid/scholarship/grant has been credited to the tuition payment.

The Deferred Tuition plan requires the student to sign an agreement to pay for tuition and fees in three payments. One-third is due at the time of registration, one-third one month later, and the remaining third due the following month. Tuition and fees must exceed $300 after financial aid resources, if any, have been applied. Student must have a satisfactory payment history and not owe UCC any money and have Oregon residency or out-of-state residency status.

Details of the Deferred Tuition Payment Plan
Eligibility Requirements: To qualify you must meet all of the following requirements:

Right to Deny or Rescind: UCC has the right, without prior notice, to stop or suspend the extension of credit and to withhold services if billings are returned by the postal service or if the required payments are not made on time. The withholding of services includes, but is not limited to, registration for classes and workshops.

Address/Name Changes: You are responsible for informing the UCC Registration Office of any address or name changes.

Three Required Payments as follows: Failure to Pay: Payments must be received by UCC on or before the payment due date. Failure to pay the minimum amount due by each specified due date will result in a $25 late fee per billing period. An interest charge of 10% per annum will be assessed on outstanding balances more than 30 days late. Failure to meet scheduled payments may also result in the following: Returned Check Penalties: If any check presented to UCC is returned unpaid by the bank, you will remain obligated for the amount of the returned check. A returned check charge of $25 will be added to your account.

Withdrawals: If you withdraw from classes, any refunds due will be applied to the outstanding account balances, and any balance due remains payable. Any remaining balance after a total withdrawal will be immediately due and payable. Charges will not be reduced unless you officially withdraw from classes during the refund period. If you withdraw after the refund period or stop attending classes, you remain responsible for any account balances.

Students Less than 18 Years of Age: If you are less than 18 years of age, you will be held liable for amounts borrowed on your account as an educational loan under Section 348-105 of the Oregon Revised Statute.

Change in Terms: UCC may change the terms of the Payment Plan and may change existing and future charges at any time. Notice will be made in advance as required by law.
