Aspiring Tradesperson Scholarship - New!

What are the requirements?

  1. Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 for the prior semester where applicable, or otherwise academic status in “good standing” if GPA is not applicable.
  2. Must be pursuing a degree or certification in a Skilled Trade field.
  3. The winner must apply the full amount of the scholarship towards tuition, books, training materials, and/or other costs directly associated with their education within 12 months of receiving the award.
  4. Prior recipients of the award are not eligible to apply for the award in subsequent years.

What are the requirements?

  1. Applicants must enrolling full-time at UCC for the 2015-16 academic year.
  2. Applicants must have and maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
  3. Applicant must be female.
  4. Applicant must have completed 36 college credits by the end of spring term 2015.
  5. This scholarship opportunity will help cover tuition, fees, books, and/or supplies directly related to or required for the classes in which the student is currently enrolled.
  6. One of the two scholarships will be for a nursing student.  Verification of being in the nursing program or acceptance into the program will be required prior to funding being disbursed.

How do I apply?

  1. Complete and submit the 2015-16 General UCC Scholarship Application and the supporting documents listed below to the Scholarship Office (TC 107) by May 5th, 2015 at 4pm.
  2. Submit a copy of your official college transcripts
  3. Submit a copy of your FAFSA confirmation for the 2015-16 academic year that includes your EFC
  4. Submit two letters of recommendation from a professional reference
