The Financial Services program is designed to prepare you for entry-level teller positions in banks or credit unions.

Occupational Skills Training

This program is available in an Occupational Skills Training format that is designed to mix school classes and on-the-job training with a potential employer. It’s great for hands-on learners! Individualized training plans are developed in consultation with the student, UCC faculty, UCC advisor, and the work site trainer.

Program Prerequisites

Minimum exit-level keyboarding speed and accuracy: 30 net wpm with 95 percent or better accuracy. You should seek placement with a keyboarding test from the Business Department. If your skills are not adequate, you should plan to take OA 110 and OA 124 to meet the exit-level keyboarding requirement. See academic advisor for occupational requirements.

Minimum placement scores include college-level reading, WR 115, and MTH 060 or higher.
