The Studio/Computer Aid will assist staff with a variety of tasks in the computer lab. Tasks may include, but are not limited to; checking students into the lab, monitoring ink and paper levels, troubleshooting basic computer issues, recycling weekly, keeping the lab and studio space clean and organized, monitoring the lab and reporting issues to the supervisor, ensuring labs are secured after closing of shift and other tasks as assigned.
Must be an UCC undergraduate student with a Federal Work-Study allotment for the 2016-17 academic year.
Qualified students must be reliable, have the ability to follow directions accurately, work independently, and to prioritize tasks. They must have college level reading and writing abilities, with excellent spelling, as well as good verbal communication skills. Students must have good computing skills, including but not limited to word processing, familiarity with Adobe Design suite is desirable. In addition, students must maintain a clean and cautious work environment and be able to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance.
Pay Rate: $9.50 / hr
